What I am looking for
is not out there, it is in me.
– Helen Keller.
It seems like we are all out on a search for something, some mission from god to find purpose, meaning, happiness. We all know that the possessions, money, and other worldly things don’t really answer our hunger, yet we continue to look there. Of course, there’s nothing inherently wrong with finding pleasures in the world. Such pleasures are part of the luxury of life. We should seek them. That’s why we’re here, but there’s more. We’re seeking a connection to the divine, to our higher self, and to each other. That only happens when we see those things in ourselves.
I bow to the God within you and to the god within me and within all things.
